2024 Singapore Aikido Seminar with Yamashima Sensei

In October 2024, we returned to Singapore to attend the International Aikido Seminar with Yamashima Takeshi Sensei. Training alongside my students made this journey especially meaningful. Together, we stepped onto the international tatami with open minds — ready to learn from our teacher, practise with fellow Aikidoka, and continue discovering Aikido beyond our own dojo.
Through each keiko, we learned not only from Yamashima Sensei, but also from one another. As a teacher, it was deeply rewarding to see my students embrace new experiences, build new friendships, and continue growing along their own Aikido paths.
Beyond the tatami, conversations, shared meals, and time spent together strengthened the bonds between teacher and students, as well as the friendships connecting different dojos and countries. These moments from Singapore capture the spirit of our journey — learning, growing, and walking the Way together.
